Amada`s Cafe in Addison

I dine in this lovely spot many times a year! This is my favorite spot to grab a bite. I visit this spot routinely. The food is just great, the workers are courteous and the payment is decent. I like being in this place to have a decent meal.

As a first generation Cuban from Cuban parents from the island I must say the overall taste is pretty good. The Cuban tamale wasn’t on point but everything else was and for that you deserve a five star. The service was great and they had it ready and hot at the promised time. Both me and my partner will be back. Thank you for doing my Cuban heritage justice.

I love their steak fajitas, they are so good! Plus the staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable!

Stopped for fajita left disappointed, half-cooked green peppers, plain taste. Kids' menu half items on it were not available. You better skip it.

The picadillo and ropa vieja were spot on! We are from Arlington Heights and were looking for authentic Cuban food without driving into the city. The owners son & daughter were working and very nice. When I was leaving I saw the pozole so I know what to get next time! The decor is quirky and different.

We love eating out. Yesterday we went to this delicious restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a delightful evening there with exceptional dishes and a well-trained stuff and an impressive chief cook. We added this place in our phone list and we shall definitely go again very soon. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our dinner at Amanda's. My chicken breast in green sauce was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Now, I understood what is meant by no frills restaurant. The only item on our table was a card advertising their beverage service. Meals are priced at the market.

I have never had a bad experience here! Everytime I visit, I leave happy and full! The servers are very friendly and management is great. I definitely recommend this location!

I come from NC to spend time with my friend y we do enjoy having few drinks on the patio..

First time here, we were just driving by and noticed this place, they have plenty of parking outside and the restaurant is easy to see from the main street. As we walked inside there was a 3 man band singing in Spanish, that was kinda cool. We got seated right away and our server came around and got our orders. I tried the Enchiladas con Mole and they were good. The place needs a bit of updating and the washroom was not very clean. You can drink beer and other types of alcohol. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Did not try any dessert.

Fridays and saturday have karaoke. It was a good vibe but didn't like the food much, I ordered Enchiladas suizas (steak) but meat wasn't too good. Orchata was okay.

The food here was excellent! I had the Presidente Cubano. I highly recommend!

Awesome place to eat wth kidz..Everything was excellent & the restaurant is very welcome....freaking awesome customer service great food & the waitress was totally awesome...will be coming here more often on Wednesday eveningz...yes i recommend this place to everyone whether they have kidz or not or a place to take ur date or just eat and enjoy the music & have a drink at the bar i recommend this restaurant handz down....Jan.2020

Very good food. The shrimp cocktail is meal in itself. The wife loves the Cubano, one of her favorites in Chicago.

This spot simply knows how to treat their customers. Always with a very nice attitude. The food is reasonably priced, always fresh and neat.

Absolutely love this place, it's my "Go To " Hot spot . Not sure if it's the Lovely staff and great service , wich I wanna thank Adriana last time i was thier she's adorabl,sweet and like all thier staff kind and attentive . I recommend the molcajete surf and turf ; Not exactly sure the name but its got everything in thier it's to die for.

Amada's is always the best! We go there almost once a week. Get the queso fundido. They make unlike ANY other restaurant.

The place offers a fantastic variety of delicious food. I like dining here. The employees are always kind, pricing is affordable and the place is always clean.

The food is excellent! We left a 18% tip in cash, and they took additional 15% tip from the card too. Really? Disappointing "honesty".

Food was really good. I got the Tostones and the Papa Rellenas. Both were very good and the different sauces they give were a nice touch. I had the Cubano sandwich it was seriously DELICIOUS!!! The inside of the place is cozy. Overall the food was solid and I'm glad I found this spot for some Cuban food.

Very good authentic Mexican and Cuban cuisine with broad menu. Tasty special cocktails along with outdoor covered patio. Ample free parking and good table side service. We’re repeating customers for 5 plus years.

Positives: very friendly staff, food came out in a timely manner, fireplace on patio, fried plantains were delish, salsas were good. Negatives: music was being played on a really old scratchy radio speaker, the feeling of the indoor area was unpleasant due to the imposing video game slot machines and their blaring lights, Cuban sandwich tasted like a Mexican restaurant trying to do Cuban food, patio was cluttered and filled with random decor. Probably not coming back. Basically came because we saw the fire.

Horrible service during pandemic. We were to go inside the restaurant and forces to wear a mask while we go to the patio yet the people in the kitchen were not wearing anything. Not to mention everyone touches the doors. I wanted to wash my hands but that is done inside where I have to wear my mask and touch everything everyone did. I don’t understand why it is a patio dining if we must enter inside first and they do have a door in the patio.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Cubano sandwich, chips & salsa ,Cuban coffee and the staff. Great food great and a great mixture of fusion cuisine. This is definitely a place for a taste of Mexico and Cuban food.

This place is amazing! You can have a traditional mexican or Cuban dish. I had a steak taco and a chile relleno taco and they were both DELICIOUS! They gave me 3 different salsas to choose from which varied in spice level. Will definitely come back

The food here is okay. I've eaten here twice and probably have no need to ever come back. Addison is littered with Mexican restaurants. All of which can do Mexican food as good or better than Amada's.

This place is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I want to go to a good dinner, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. outstanding and all sorts of food and a rich cuisine.courteous team, and agreeable mood. Also important, the price is good. I recommend this spot with no doubt.

Great place good tasting food, not good for breakfast coffee, they don't serve half and half for your cofee.
